Since MCO happen, I have been staying at home with my family in Terengganu. It feels good to be home for the first couple of weeks. Then things started to get boring because you cannot go out to see your friends or just chilling out at your favorite cafe. Panic buying happened during the earlier stage. Many things had happened since MCO. I tried out the famous and viral dalgona coffee and trying out new recipes. The major project that I did during MCO and still going is re-doing my room. I saw many people did their bedroom transformation while staying at home during this pandemic. So I decided to makeover my room as well. But during Ramadan, the makeover was a little bit slow. I start out with painting my bedroom walls. It took a good two weeks to finish painting all the walls. It was so satisfying. Now I am still working on the decor of my room. I also ordered some new furniture and still waiting for it to arrive. Here are some photos that I took when I paint my bedroom walls.
I also finished all my assignments during MCO. But hey, it is kinda of challenging because it is not the same when you are at home. The chance of you to get lazy are incredibly high. So it needs extra effort to finish all the assignment. Most of my assignments during this MCO is video based because it is more convenient and make sense.
Raya during MCO is another whole new experience. No more salam raya, no more open houses, no more visiting our long lost friends. It is definitely a new kind of raya. A more simple raya I could say. Minimalist style. Usually I spent my Raya in Kuala Terengganu and Kelantan, but this year I could not see my grandparents in Kelantan. Video call saves the day. It is fun to see our grandparents are suddenly advanced in technology all thanks to COVID-19. So here is a picture of everyone’s favourite food during raya.
This pandemic had taught me so much. Now that this pandemic is happening, we tend to look back all the good times that we spent with family and friends. We might take it for granted. Now here we are wishing to experience it all over again. Anything can happen within a blink of an eye. I learnt to appreciate more of everything that I had now. Many people did not get the chance to stay at home with their family but I can and for that I am so grateful. Please stay at home and go out only when you need to. Wash your hands regularly and stay safe. Together, we can fight this virus. See you soon. Take care, bye!
